Vulture Facts.

Vultures do not hunt, but survive by scavenging for food. With their brilliant eyesight, they soar thousands of metres above the grasslands watching for food, and they often travel hundreds of kilometres a day. Any abandoned carcasses are quickly torn apart and eaten, skin and bones as well as meat.

Leopard Facts.


Leopards are large, strong cats which hunt small deer, antelopes, warthogs and baboons. They are solitary animals and usually hunt at dawn and dusk, when their eyesight is six times better than a human's!

Hyena Facts.

Hyenas hunt and scavenge almost anything. They are some of the most successful predators on the plains and can kill animals as large as wilbebeest or zebras. they are noisy, greedy eaters and their stomachs are so strong that they can even digest bone.

Crocodile Facts.

Crocodiles can grow to six metres in lenght and can live to be 100 years old. Although their size, they can move very quickly! They often lurk in ambush before grabbing thier prey and pulling it underwater untill it drowns.
